This XrmToolBox tool allows you to compare the installed solutions between two or more Microsoft Dataverse environments and drill down into components of solutions to compare (developed by Riccardo Gregori).

When there is no proper deployment process, the solutions are out of sync between multiple environments.
To check what solutions are missing or having version mismatch between the environments, you can use this tool to list the solutions with version numbers for all environments to compare.

There is a preview feature that loads the components of the selected solution in the different environments to visualise the differences. This preview feature is still a work in progress and it may not be able to show all component names and match the components property.

      • Connect to the additional environments (Fig. 1, Pt. 1)
        • Remove the selected environment (Fig. 1, Pt. 2)
      • Visualise the difference based on the color-coded table cells
        • Green rows - all environment have the same solution with the same version number (Fig. 1, Pt. 8)
        • Amber rows
          • the solution is missing in one of the environments (Fig. 1, Pt. 6)
          • the solution version mismatch in one of the environments (Fig. 1, Pt. 7)
        • Red cells - the solution is not installed in that particular environment (Fig. 1, Pt. 9)
    • Compare the components of the solution of the selected solution between different environments (Fig. 2, Pt. 1)
      • Additionally, the tool can
        • Find the solution by name and focus the selection (Fig. 1, Pt. 3)
        • Export the table data into an Excel file (Fig. 1, Pt. 4)
        • Show/hide the invisible/system solutions from the list (Fig. 1, Pt. 4)
        • Show logs and exceptions from the actions (Fig. 1, Pt. 10)
          • Allow copying of output logs to the clipboard (Fig. 1, Pt. 11)
