CRM Trace Reader

This XrmToolBox tool allows you to analyse/filter the trace log files from Dynamics CRM/Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (on-premises) (developed by Tanguy Touzard).

If you see a generic error message like "An error has occurred, please contact your System Administrator" in on-prem deployments, it is time to enable tracing but the log file generated can be really big and hard to read.
To make the log files easier to understand, you can use this tool to load the log files, view the log entries in the table and filter to narrow down to the point of failure.
