Bulk Update Work Hours

This XrmToolBox tool allows you to clear or bulk update the work hours of multiple bookable resources. (developed by Thomas Dayman).

In Dynamics 365, there is an out-of-the-box functionality called "Set Calendar" to assign the work hours template to resources so their calendars reflect the working hours specified in the template. (you can read step by step tutorial in this blog post). However, setting the working hours in Dynamics 365 may not cover for all scenarios (e.g. working schedule for every other week).

To clear or bulk update the work hours of multiple bookable resources, you can use this tool to select the bookable resources and set the working hours schedule.

• Load all bookable resources (Fig. 1, Pt. 1) and select all or multiple bookable resources (Fig. 1, Pt. 2)
• Set the same working hours for all days (Fig. 1, Pt. 5)
• Select the working days of the week (Fig. 1, Pt. 7)
• Select working hours (Fig. 1, Pt. 10)
• Set the different working hours by day (Fig. 1, Pt. 5, 6)
• Select the specific start date and end date (Fig. 1, Pt. 8)
• Set the number of weeks to skip in between (Fig. 1, Pt. 9)
• Set other information such as Hour Type, Capacity and Time Zone (Fig. 1, Pt. 11)
• Clear working hours of selected bookable resources (Fig. 1, Pt. 4)
